Why are wetlands important to humans? to wildlife? to the environment?
Wetlands are important to humans because they improve the water quality so we can have clean drinking water, the wetlands are important to wildlife cause it gives many species of animals a home, the wetlands are important to the environment because it supports many plants and animalsand it cleans the water that goes through it.
What factors contribute to the loss of wetlands?People driving all day and pollute the air with the gas from the cars, also people throw trash where it's not supposed to be and it gets into the water.

What are some things that middle school students can do to help protect wetland areas?

We could take a field trip to the wetlands to help clean up the water and land so that animals and plants can have a home.
